Job summary

RVO Health is seeking a seasoned Director of SEO & AEO to own organic search across Healthline, Healthgrades, Medical News Today, and other brands. You’ll lead a high-performing team, set strategy, and translate analytics into growth across Google, agentic, and social search.

This role reports to VP+ level, requires deep technical depth, cross-functional collaboration, and a track record of improving rankings and traffic in healthcare.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in SEO with 5+ years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of improving search rankings and increasing organic traffic.
Ability to build forecasting models and translate data into strategy.

Responsibilities

Lead and scale an SEO team across multiple brands and priorities.
Develop strategies across Google, Agentic, and Social search aligned with business goals.
Diagnose performance issues and guide solutions.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Editorial, Content Ops, and GTM teams.
Drive AI and automation to improve efficiency.
Monitor metrics and report progress to senior leadership.
Adapt strategy based on Core Algorithm Updates and testing results.
Provide guidance on search trends across platforms.
