Qualifications

• 15+ years in software engineering or related technical discipline.
• 6+ years leading and managing cross-functional engineering teams.
• Deep expertise in software engineering, fraud tech, risk systems, security engineering, ML, data science, or data engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical strategy, architecture, and roadmap for scalable fraud technology.
• Design reusable detection approaches combining rules, ML, anomaly, graphs, risk scoring.
• Partner with DS, ML Eng, Product, and Customer Engineering to deploy detection capabilities.
• Identify, prioritize, and integrate fraud signals across data domains.
• Establish frameworks to translate fraud patterns into production rules and workflows.
• Define metrics for detection effectiveness: precision, recall, false positives, latency.
• Lead technical root-cause analysis and improve detection logic and system resilience.
• Build reusable detection infrastructure, APIs, reference architectures.
• Evaluate emerging technologies like AI/ML/graph to enhance fraud detection.
• Lead technical architecture reviews across multiple teams.
