Job summary

Vacatia seeks a Director of Training & Development – Sales to lead strategy, design, and execution of training programs for the sales organization. This role partners with sales to develop talent, strengthen performance, and foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in training and development and 3+ years in leadership, with expertise in instructional design, LMS, and CRM tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in training and development, preferably within vacation ownership, hospitality, or sales.
• 3+ years of leadership or management experience within training and development.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Organizational Development, HR, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience designing and delivering sales and leadership development programs.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, facilitation, and e-learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee comprehensive training programs for sales professionals, sales leaders, and key roles throughout the organization.
• Build innovative learning strategies that support sales performance, productivity, revenue growth, and business objectives.
• Design workshops, classroom training, role-playing, coaching sessions, and continuing education programs.
• Develop programs focused on sales techniques, communication, objection handling, closing skills, customer engagement, and ethical sales practices.
• Create and improve onboarding experiences and structured learning paths that reinforce culture, product knowledge, and compliance.
