Leadec is seeking a Director of Sales- Project Services in Texas. The role leads business development and sales efforts across identified accounts, driving profitability and customer relationships in the Project Services department.

Significant travel (75-80%) is required to manage complex projects and ensure success. The candidate should bring a strong technical background, contract knowledge, and proven leadership to build a best-in-class team and deliver on budgets and forecasts.

Position: Director of Sales- Project Services

Location: Texas

Job Type: Travel (75-80%)

Reports to: General Manager

Department: Project Services

Position Purpose: Director of Business Development at Leadec have responsibilities to drive sales at identified accounts that support the core competencies of Leadec Project Services. This role is responsible for overall customer relationships in purchasing, engineering and plant. The core competencies are listed below:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Integration of automation conveyance systems including the design, fabrication and installation of mechanical, electrical and controls systems.
• Machinery and plant rigging and relocation
• Mechanical and electrical contracting
• Profitable New Customer Acquisition -- create and maintain the right type of new customers
• Bid Preparation and Proposal Development -- Manage the process from beginning to end.
• Vertical Sales -- Support sales to existing customers
• Develop and retain a "Best in Class" team through selection, assessment, development and recognition.
• Ensure employee engagement and implement succession planning at the sites.
• Contract and Service Agreement Negotiation -- Ensure that service scope and contract requirements are clear, and in compliance with approved contract terms and conditions.
• Budgeting and Forecasting -- development of annual and multi-year budgets and forecasts as part of the planning process.
• Reporting and Documentation -- Provide timely and accurate reports as required.
• Adhering to and supporting all EHS and Quality objectives, in accordance with ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001 respectively.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Technical Background in manufacturing is preferred.
• Understanding of legal contracts and agreements.

Position Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive management experience.
• Must be able to interact with customers and employees at all levels.
• Extensive travel. Travel is estimated at 75 to 80%.

• Work is performed in an industrial-manufacturing environment with as well as working on a computer.
