Are you ready to take your career to the next level? As the Director of Sales, Oncology Clinical Insights, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our market research and educational solutions to new heights! This position involves managing the entire sales and account management process for our offerings, including clinical insights and educational solutions designed for healthcare stakeholders like pharmaceutical manufacturers and cancer testing companies. (Oncology experience required)

In this role, you'll identify and qualify opportunities, lead contract negotiations independently or with leadership, and contribute to achieving revenue targets while building strong relationships with Corporate Partners.   • Develop and cultivate client relationships within your assigned accounts; prepare presentations and proposals for new business development related to Cencora's market research and educational offerings.
  • Lead proposal writing, contracting, client presentations, and pricing discussions aligning with company policies.
  • Communicate client needs and expectations across teams, highlighting issues requiring attention.
  • Act as a client advocate to ensure program deliverables maintain integrity and credibility.
  • Gather and analyze information to develop strategies addressing market dynamics and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client goals are met.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Expand contact base within existing partners using business development techniques.
  • Document all interactions to maintain comprehensive activity records.
  • Participate in meetings, report on sales pipelines, and project statuses.
  • Engage with key client functions to present market research and educational solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Travel as required for meetings, conferences, and client visits.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements

B.S. degree required; M.B.A. or higher preferred. Must have healthcare sales experience with analytics/market research background in the pharmaceutical industry, including data-driven sales and secondary data sales experience. Supportive business education is a plus. Minimum of 7 years of progressive sales experience in healthcare/pharma, with oncology experience and contract negotiation skills preferred.

  • Thorough knowledge of the pharmaceutical oncology marketplace and data sets like claims data and medical records.
  • Understanding of roles within biopharmaceutical companies and payers, including outcomes research and reimbursement.
  • Prior oncology experience required.
  • Knowledge of strategic marketing and consulting techniques.
  • Strong analytical, business planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership ability to guide and develop teams or colleagues.
  • Ability to interpret industry trends and develop responsive strategies.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Willingness to travel domestically.

Salary Range*: $121,000 - $186,230

*Range varies by location, with adjustments for certain states.
