The Opportunity

As the Senior Sales Manager for New Capital Equipment, you will report to the VP of Sales and Marketing, Diversity, Food & Health, North America. You will lead the sales strategy for new equipment offerings, ensuring the achievement of revenue targets and market expansion. Your role involves accomplishing sales plans, building customer relationships, and collaborating with teams to provide solutions that meet customer needs and enhance our competitive position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee strategic sales plans to achieve goals and increase revenue in the capital food equipment sector, including stainless steel custom fabrication of both industrial and sanitary process systems.
  • Develop relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Manage the sales budget for efficient resource allocation to maximize ROI.
  • Manage a team of 5-7 Business Development Managers by setting goals, providing feedback, and fostering a supportive environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of sales management experience in the food capital equipment industry.
  • Experience selling process systems designs, fabricates, and installs for custom stainless steel process systems, tanks, skidded solutions, and pharmaceutical equipment.
  • Proven success in achieving sales targets and driving growth.
  • Experience managing negotiations, contracts, and deal closures.
  • At least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • This role is remote, with travel requirements of approximately 25% to 50%.
Compensation

Range: $145,000 to $165,000 plus 40% quarterly/annual commission. Compensation depends on experience and skills.
