Job Opening: Director of Sales & Marketing at The Element Austin

We are hiring a Director of Sales & Marketing for our new hotel, The Element Austin, located in Austin, Texas. Our hotel, Element Austin North Tech Ridge Parmer, features 123 rooms designed for long-term stays. Situated in the vibrant Tech Ridge neighborhood, known as "Silicon Hill," our location is close to major companies like Amazon, Apple, Google, SpaceX, and Tesla, as well as The Shops at Tech Ridge and a large multifamily development. Element Hotel by Marriott offers eco-friendly, wellness-focused amenities, including a fitness center and outdoor pool.

Ideal Candidate: A service-oriented, motivated, passionate, and collaborative individual with a strong ability to develop customer relationships, prospect effectively, and lead teams creatively. The Director of Sales will deliver comprehensive solutions to boost revenue growth.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide high-quality service to customers at all times.
  2. Develop and execute strategies to grow business in new and existing markets.
  3. Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients and partners.
  4. Stay informed about industry trends and the competitive landscape.
  5. Lead sales and marketing efforts, including advertising, public relations, and administrative reporting.
  6. Implement sales and marketing activities aligned with the Marketing Plan.
  7. Prioritize and organize work to meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Director of Sales, preferably in the Austin market.
  • Experience with Marriott hotels is desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to analyze financial and competitive data for decision-making.
  • Proven experience in leading, motivating, and managing successful sales teams.
