Job description

This 75+ year old AIRCRAFT MRO organization, poised for rapid growth, is seeking a DIRECTOR of SALES for their HELICOPTER / ROTORCRAFT division in Baton Rouge, LA or Fort Worth, TX.

They have an in-house engineering team and a robust inventory that offers competitive pricing and quick turnaround times, making them an easy sell! You would report directly to the CEO, manage 3 direct reports, and expand the sales team.

We need a "HUNTER" with a proven track record in business development / sales for Aviation / Helicopter MRO (maintenance, repair & overhaul) for:

  • replacement / repair parts
  • engines
  • components
  • structures
  • avionics
  • interiors
  • upgrades

You will be responsible for FULL LIFE CYCLE SALES REQUIREMENTS: identifying new customer opportunities, expanding existing portfolio, RFP / RFQ’s, contract negotiations, and capturing new business through delivery.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of proven MRO Sales / Business Development experience specifically for HELICOPTER / ROTORCRAFT
  • Strong leadership traits to mentor and develop a team capable of delivering competitive proposals and engaging with customers
  • Extensive travel (~50%)
