Chief Operating Officer at MultiDyne Video & Fiber Optic Systems

MultiDyne, based in Kings Park, leads the industry in pioneering signal conversion and fiber-optic-based transport systems for markets including broadcast, cable, satellite, production, digital cinema, surveillance, teleconferencing, and Pro AV. We are seeking a highly talented, motivated, creative, and experienced sales leader in video and audio fiber optic transport systems. This role will have responsibility for global account management and will collaborate with various organizational functions such as Regional Sales Management, Global Business Development, Product Management, and Executive Management across Sales, Engineering, and Operations. The position aims to significantly contribute to our strategic growth plan.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the sales team.
  2. Provide technical expertise across all sites.
  3. Suggest process improvements for the sales process.
  4. Perform annual performance reviews.
  5. Set sales goals and KPIs.
  6. Own the sales forecast.
  7. Contribute to SIOP meetings by collaborating with production and engineering.
  8. Train, mentor, and motivate the sales team.
  9. Create growth strategies and executable plans.
  10. Utilize lean methodologies for continuous improvement.
  11. Prepare and monitor sales and marketing budgets.
  12. Create and improve marketing campaigns.
  13. Prepare reports and presentations on sales and marketing metrics for executive leadership.
  14. Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify challenges and opportunities.
  15. Participate in management meetings.
  16. Work closely with regional sales managers to drive account growth and strategy.
  17. Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Accounting, and Operations to meet customer needs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Engineering preferred).
  2. 5-10+ years of relevant experience.
  3. Ability to analyze data and draw conclusions.
  4. Strong problem-solving skills.
  5. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  6. Lean background is a plus.
