Your Impact

• Lead safety strategies, programs, and best practices across markets to ensure safety and reduce accidents.
• Ensure compliance with FMCSA, DOT, OSHA regulations through audits and safety programs.
• Develop safety training, investigate incidents, and create SOPs for safety-related items.
• Coordinate with vendors and develop safety bonus programs for owner operators.
• Maintain safety records, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee claims administration.
• Manage asset safety and maintenance programs to safeguard resources and optimize operations.

Requirements

• Relevant certifications such as CSP or CDS preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of safety management experience in transportation
• Knowledge of intra and interstate commerce, DOT, OSHA, MSHA, FMCSA regulations
• Proven leadership in logistics, transportation, or trucking safety roles
• Strong leadership, data analysis, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience in M&A environments preferred
• Technical skills including familiarity with safety management systems and relevant software
