Job summary

The Vanguard Group in Malvern, PA is seeking a risk-focused leader to evaluate and enable innovative digital tools and investment products within the Personal Wealth Division. You will partner with leaders, product teams, and risk experts to assess risks and design effective controls that enable innovation while protecting clients.

You will influence product lifecycles, governance, and compliance, guiding risk management practices from development through adoption.

Qualifications

Eight or more years in risk management, internal audit, or compliance.
Strong leadership experience is required.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field; advanced degrees preferred.
Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise teams, providing guidance and development.
Set performance standards and conduct reviews in line with HR policies.
Collaborate with division leadership and risk partners to address risk and controls.
Identify risks early and implement mitigation within tolerance.
Provide risk and control solutions for investment products and services.
Educate across the organization on governance and risk management.
Participate in special projects as needed.
