Job summary

Tampa General Hospital's Cancer Institute seeks a Director of Revenue Integrity to lead charge capture, coding, reconciliation, and denial prevention across surgical, radiation, medical oncology, and supportive care services. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business, Health Information Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of revenue integrity experience in a complex healthcare system.
• A minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Lead revenue integrity across the Cancer Institute, including charge capture, reconciliation, and coding processes.
• Oversee workflows to identify and resolve missing, incorrect, duplicate, or delayed charges before claims submission.
• Partner with providers and clinical leaders to improve documentation for accurate, compliant billing.
• Analyze charge, coding, billing, and denial data to identify root causes and lead improvements.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle, Clinical Operations, IT, and Epic teams to define requirements and test changes.
• Establish performance measures for charge capture, reconciliation, coding accuracy, and denials; report findings to leadership.
• Lead and develop revenue integrity and coding staff; manage performance and gaps.
• Ensure practices align with billing regulations, payer requirements, and organizational policies.
