Job summary

Confidential, a real estate investment firm, seeks a Director of Commercial Leasing to lead leasing for owned and managed properties—retail focus with some office/warehouse assets. You will source tenants and craft value-creating asset strategies.

Must have a NJ brokerage license, a Bachelor’s degree (MBA a plus), and 5+ years in CRE leasing; leadership of a small sales team is expected. Proficiency in CoStar, Outlook, Word, and Excel is required.

Qualifications

• Must have established network of commercial tenants.
• Must possess NJ brokerage license.
• Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA a plus.
• 5+ years experience in commercial real estate leasing; director level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze tenant mix and develop leasing plans for each asset.
• Source prospects via meetings, conferences, email marketing, mailers, etc.
• Evaluate creditworthiness and experience of prospects.
• Negotiate Letters of Intent.
• Support Commercial Lease Administrator during lease negotiation.
• Maintain market rent data (e.g., CoStar).
• Prepare and communicate leasing reports for cross-functional teams.
• Cultivate relationships with brokers; lead small in-house and 3rd-party sales teams.
