Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence - Sierra Campus in El Paso, TX seeks an experienced healthcare leader to oversee the Respiratory Care department, drive patient outcomes, and maintain operational excellence. This full-time role requires strategic thinking, strong people skills, and dedication to our community.

You will manage budgets, staffing, regulatory compliance, and quality programs while fostering a collaborative environment to support care teams and patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA accredited respiratory care program; Associate in respiratory care or health science.
• Preferred: Bachelor's in Health Care Management.
• Experience: 2 years respiratory care and 2 years managerial experience.
• Certifications: RCP or equivalent State licensure; RRT, AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages the annual department operating and capital budgets; directs daily operations of assigned departments; directs staff; achieves ongoing compliance with regulatory agencies; selects personnel for hire and promotion; takes appropriate actions regarding counseling, disciplinary actions, demotion and termination; develops and implements quality assurance programs for department.
