Job summary

Community Options, Inc. seeks an experienced Director of Residential IDD Services in Pflugerville, TX. The role leads a team to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, driving day-to-day operations and program goals, with on-call responsibilities as needed.

The director will oversee ISP/PCP development, staff scheduling, documentation, and coordination with families, ensuring high-quality person-centered support and compliance with licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required with two years’ full-time work experience in supporting people with disabilities.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Team oriented with demonstrated leadership experience.
• Experience with problem solving against multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train a team to support programmatic initiatives, goals, daily routines, and the unique needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Manage team performance through effective communication, training, performance management, staff meetings, and employee recognition.
• Manage staff schedules and ensure shifts are adequately staffed.
• Develop and update ISP/PCP with an interdisciplinary team to include concerns, observations, and behavioral developments.
• Ensure individuals are supported per ISP/PCP including medication management, meal planning, and behavior management.
• Ensure program documentation and billable records are completed accurately and timely.
• Monitor the health and medical needs of individuals and report concerns.
• Manage relationships with families and guardians of individuals in care.
• May conduct programmatic investigations.
• May be required to be on-call in cooperation with other management staff.
