Job Title: Director of Resident Services

The Resident Services Department, comprised of approximately 60 staff members, provides supportive and clinical services to individuals and families who have experienced homelessness and reside in supportive housing sites in San Francisco.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Director of Resident Services (DRS) is a key member of the leadership team. The DRS guides the overall delivery of all resident services and coordinates with the housing operations department and community partners. Using evidence-based practices, the DRS welcomes residents/participants into their new homes and encourages greater self-sufficiency across three drivers: Housing, Income, and Resourcefulness.

The Case Management Model uses data to understand the resident/participant experience and includes:

  • Intensive retention services
  • Strength-based case management support and service planning
  • Mental health, substance use, and crisis intervention services
  • Information and referral
  • Empowerment and community development for residents/participants
