Job summary

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in science or engineering or equivalent knowledge.
• Ten years of related professional experience, five in supervision.
• Ability to develop relationships with sponsors and external contacts.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains a high-quality portfolio of research fellowships and guides strategic growth.
• Plans, conducts, and directs program work; oversees selection committees and improves efficiency.
• Learns and mentors staff; fosters teamwork and professional development.
• Acts as senior resource for complex programmatic issues and ensures policy compliance.
• Oversees financial management, budgeting, and planning for the programs.
• Develops relationships with sponsors and external contacts for stewardship.
• Responds to proposals, negotiates scope, budget, and funding; prepares proposals.
• Oversees outreach, marketing strategy and budget for the programs.
