Job summary

United Way of Massachusetts Bay is seeking a Director of Research and Evaluation to lead its measurement and evaluation efforts, document impact, and translate findings into practice and policy. The role collaborates with teams across the organization to implement data collection and analysis, develop evidence-based content, and support grant proposals.

You will supervise students and fellows, present findings to diverse audiences, and help advance UWMB's mission through data-informed decision

Qualifications

• 6+ years in nonprofit sector and/or social sciences.
• Experience delivering professional reports and presentations to practitioners, administrators, and policymakers.
• Experience designing/evaluating programs in childcare, economic development, housing, or education.

Responsibilities

• Lead measurement and evaluation efforts articulating UWMB's impact and opportunities for growth.
• Develop logic models and measurement plans with staff and external evaluators.
• Collect and analyze data to support performance and learning.
• Produce reports and visuals for internal and public audiences.
• Translate research into practice and policy; contribute to grants.
