Job summary

WV Higher Education Policy Commission seeks an Assistant Director of Research and Evaluation to lead research design, evaluation, and data analysis for federally funded programs such as GPRA measures. You will supervise an evaluation team, develop MOUs, and partner with WV institutions, the Department of Education, and external evaluators to advance college access and success initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in education or a research-oriented field.
• Doctoral degree preferred.
• Three years of recent relevant experience required.
• Valid West Virginia Driver’s License; may be required to drive to meetings, trainings, and events.

Responsibilities

• Direct all aspects of research design, evaluation strategies, and assessment for programs.
• Develop qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
• Collect, analyze, validate, interpret, and maintain data to support evaluation.
• Collaborate with higher education institutions and government agencies to improve outcomes.
