Job summary

Madison Hunt is seeking a Director, M&A to lead acquisitions and dispositions for a scaled renewable energy platform focused on utility-scale solar and storage. You will own end-to-end deal execution from sourcing and underwriting through diligence, negotiation, and closing, reporting to the CIO and senior leadership.

The role demands 7+ years in renewable energy M&A or related finance, strong modeling and valuation skills, and a proven track record of leading complex transactions independently.

Qualifications

• 7+ years across renewable energy M&A, infrastructure investing, corporate development, project finance, or investment banking.
• Strong project modeling, valuation, and development-stage underwriting capabilities.
• Experience independently leading acquisitions, diligence, and transaction negotiations.
• Commercial investment mindset with the ability to assess and appropriately underwrite development risk.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and leading acquisitions and dispositions across utility-scale solar and storage.
• Underwriting development-stage projects and building project/portfolio valuation models.
• Leading commercial, technical, and development diligence.
• Structuring transactions and negotiating directly with counterparties and advisors.
• Preparing investment committee/Board materials and supporting post-acquisition execution.
