Qualifications

• 10+ years of claims experience with strong knowledge of personal lines property claims and complex losses.
• Leadership of leaders: proven experience developing claims managers and teams with performance coaching and talent development.
• Operational leadership: manage claims performance against metrics and implement strategies affecting loss cost and customer experience.
• Influence & collaboration: strong executive communication and cross-functional partnership skills.
• Change & decision leadership: strategic, analytical, capable of leading through organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Manages property claims processes within a geographic location and coordinates with other claims functions.
• Develops and implements new solutions and processes to meet metrics and regulatory standards.
• Sets quality standards, monitors progress, and suggests improvements in execution.
• Allocates resources and assists with strategic plans and initiatives.
• Coordinates cross-claims issues with Directors across lines of business and leadership.
• Evaluates and adjusts operational plans to support future growth and success.
• Delivers outstanding customer service to Nationwide customers and maintains leadership in the region.
