Job summary

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Director of Rehabilitation Services to lead and manage all therapy programs within the facility, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology. This role ensures high-quality rehabilitative care and oversees the therapy team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all rehabilitation services, including PT, OT, and SLP programs.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate therapy staff, including therapists and therapy assistants.
• Develop and implement therapy programs that align with resident needs and facility goals.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to rehabilitation services.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop individualized treatment plans and participate in care conferences.
• Perform other duties as assigned by facility management.

Qualifications

• Current, active license as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Tennessee.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory or management experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Long-term care/skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in working with older adults.
