Job summary

CommuniCare Family of Companies is seeking a Director of Rehabilitation for a Cincinnati-area facility. The role encompasses management of the rehabilitation department, patient evaluation, and direct therapy care allocation within a multi-disciplinary team.

The incumbent will lead clinical programming, staff development, and coordination with facility administration to ensure compliant, reimbursable care. A licensed clinician with strong leadership and communication skills is required.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed clinician (PT, OT, SLP, PTA, or COTA) from an Accredited Program.
• Current state license required; excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and competency in therapy treatment and evaluation principles.

Responsibilities

• Performs evaluations, screenings, and treatments for patients/residents in need of therapy services.
• Reviews medical charts to determine need for services and benefit from skilled therapy.
• Lead/interdisciplinary meetings to relay clinical findings and recommendations to rehab team.
• Provides documentation and billing training for facility staff and participates in QA programs.
• Maintains confidentiality of medical records and adheres to rehab and facility policies.
