Qualifications

Responsibilities

The Director of Rehab PT is responsible for the efficient management of rehabilitation services in their assigned account(s). This role also involves integrating rehabilitation services across all settings. The Director ensures the highest standards of rehabilitation services are delivered and maintained.

  • Manage rehabilitation services efficiently and profitably in assigned sites.
  • Provide direct patient care.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of clinical services across all sites, ensuring ethical and compliant practices.
  • Operational management of Powerback Rehabilitation personnel and consultants within contracts.
  • Ensure evidence-based care and adherence to care standards.
  • Review monthly department and therapist outcomes; support staff in improving outcomes.
  • Assist therapy staff in removing treatment barriers and provide clinical education.
  • Develop and support staff through rounding, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Conduct annual merit evaluations of therapy staff.
  • Participate in hiring therapy staff (with the Clinical Operations Area Director).
  • Manage daily staffing and utilization, considering clinical needs and recommendations.
  • Oversee financial controls related to revenue and expenses.
  • Prepare and review facility reports weekly and monthly.
  • Assist in annual budget preparation and meet budget goals.
  • Support clinical orientation and ensure quality onboarding for new staff.
  • Promote high standards of rehab services through resource utilization, program promotion, and staff development.
  • Support the development of new contracts and maintain relationships with facility management.
  • Oversee clinical management aspects, including case management, quality improvement, and care planning.
  • Complete and review monthly reports with facility administration.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice or proof of license eligibility.
  • Master's degree in Physical Therapy, or
  • Master's degree in a related field plus Bachelor's in Physical Therapy, or
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressive PT experience.

Degrees earned outside the U.S. must be evaluated for U.S. equivalency. The candidate must have three years of direct patient care and one year of management experience. Knowledge of Medicare and third-party billing is required.

Posted Salary Range: USD $45.00 - USD $53.00 /Hr.
