Harborview Health Systems in Georgia is seeking a Director of Rehabilitation Services to lead our therapy programs and ensure high-quality patient care. The role oversees clinical staff, documentation, billing integrity, and compliance, while aligning operations with medical goals and accreditation standards.

The ideal candidate holds an active PT/OT/ST/PTA/COTA license in the state and demonstrates strong leadership, program development, and financial acumen to sustain quality and growth.

Qualifications

• Active PT/OT/ST/PTA/COTA license in the state in which we operate (Required)
• Experience leading rehabilitation services or therapy departments is preferred
• Strong understanding of clinical documentation and billing processes

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, implements and monitors operations for overall quality, effectiveness, and financial viability.
• Oversees clinical competency of therapy staff and implementation of clinical resources, core programs and applicable specialty products
• Delivers patient care and/or clinical supervision to meet patients' goals as prescribed
• Ensures staff is properly licensed and trained in skilled therapy documentation; reviews documentation quality and billing integrity
• Oversees compliance with accurate documentation, billing of therapy services, and denials; partners with HR for annual compliance

We are currently seeking a dedicated Director of Rehabilitation Services

What You Will Do

• Plans, develops, implements and monitors operations for overall quality, effectiveness, and financial viability. Works with Rehab Team to ensure operational and clinical functions deliver desired results

• Oversees clinical competency of therapy staff and implementation of clinical resources, core programs and applicable specialty products

• Delivers patient care and/or clinical supervision to meet each patient's goals and needs as prescribed by medical doctor and determined by the evaluation and treatment plans.

• Ensures staff is properly licensed and trained in skilled therapy documentation; completes reviews for documentation quality and billing integrity; some reviews may be delegated to appropriately credentialed team member(s)

• Oversees compliance with accurate documentation, billing of therapy services, and denials. Partners with the HR administration team to ensure completion of annual compliance requirements.
