With a passion for providing top-notch care and support, you will work with patients to guide them through personalized therapy and help them achieve their recovery goals. Located in Long Beach, California, our facility offers a range of therapies and care services to support patients in regaining their independence.

Responsibilities:

• Direct Rehabilitation Services Staff and Rehab Department
• Oversee scheduling of patients and ensure appropriateness of treatment and evaluation
• Provide Assessment, treatment, and rehabilitative services to patients
• Adhere to standards of physical medicine practice and maintain a good working relationship with staff and other departments
• Perform management duties, including interviewing, hiring, evaluating, and terminating staff
• Monitor documentation of resident treatment and response and assist with formulation of a teaching plan

Requirements:

• CPR Certification (Required)
• Licensed Physical Therapy Therapist or Occupational Therapist
• 3-4 years experience in long term care preferred and Rehab Director experience
• Good physical and mental health
• Ability to perform any physical requirement of the position
• Must be able to observe and evaluate treatment effect and recommend change to physician
