Job summary

Wheatridge Care Center in Colorado is seeking a Rehabilitation Program Director to plan, organize, direct, and evaluate rehabilitation services across physical, occupational, and speech therapy. This leadership role ensures compliance with federal and state regulations while delivering patient-centered care.

You will manage staff levels, uphold Beecan values, and drive program improvements, working within Beecan’s mission to provide high-quality, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Licensed therapist in the state of practice.
• Minimum three years of clinical experience; management preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy, occupational therapy or speech-language pathology program.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

Planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating rehabilitation programs, services and personnel in a manner that supports the goals of the designated facility while meeting federal and state regulations and the state specific practice acts for Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy. Responsible for direct patient care delivery in their discipline. Completes all duties in accordance with established medical practices, governmental requirements and Company policies and procedures.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Complies with all company and departmental policies and procedures.
• Manages the rehabilitation program for the facility or designated facilities.
• Manages rehab staffing levels and patient care levels to meet clinical and operational needs.
• Ensures ongoing rollout of new policies and procedures to departmental staff.
• Participates in facility performance improvement program.
• Participates in facility marketing activities as indicated.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech-language pathology school. Licensed by the state in which the therapist resides or practices, according to state requirement.
• If not licensed therapist, high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three (3) years of clinical experience with some prior management experience preferred.
