Job summary

Powerback is seeking a Director of Rehabilitation to lead a compassionate team and oversee all rehab services in a facility. You will provide direct patient care when needed, mentor clinicians, and ensure the highest standards of rehabilitation.

You will guide program design and implementation, collaborate with other teams, and focus on restoring patients’ abilities while supporting staff growth and development in a dynamic care setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in rehabilitation discipline (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology) required; Master's degree preferred.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
• Thorough knowledge of Medicare and third party billing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions and problem solve.
• Thorough knowledge of all state practice acts.
• Ability to positively interact with patients, families, staff and the public.
• Ability to effectively manage/motivate staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee rehab services in your facility and provide direct patient care as needed.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the clinical team to design and execute rehabilitation programs.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Adjust programs to meet individual patient needs and therapy goals.
• Foster a teaching environment and prioritize patient-centric outcomes.

As a Director of Rehabilitation, you are leading a team of compassionate clinicians who help patients get well. You and your team are bringing power back to the patients you serve. In doing this, you will oversee all rehab services in your facility, support your team by providing direct patient care, and ensure the highest standards of rehabilitation services.

Posted Salary Range

USD $26.21 - USD $43.22 /Hr.
