Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a Director of Rehabilitation to lead a compassionate team of clinicians across physical, occupational, speech, and respiratory therapies. You will oversee rehab services in the facility, provide direct patient care as needed, and uphold the highest standards of care.

You will mentor clinicians, drive program development, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to restore, reinforce, and enhance patients' abilities while maintaining patient-first

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in rehabilitation disciplines (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology) required; Master's degree preferred.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
• Thorough knowledge of Medicare and third party billing required.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions and problem solve appropriately.
• Must have thorough knowledge of all state practice acts.
• Must possess the ability to positively interact with personnel, patients, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
• Must possess the ability to effectively manage/motivate staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all rehab services in the facility and provide direct patient care as needed.
• Lead and mentor a clinical team to design, implement, and execute rehabilitation programs.
• Collaborate with other leaders to ensure high standards of rehabilitation services.
• Foster collaboration and referrals to ensure patient needs are met.
• Support, grow, and mentor the clinical team while always prioritizing patient care.

Posted Salary Range

USD $26.21 - USD $39.76 /Hr.
