Job summary

The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington seeks an inaugural Director, Community Antisemitism Response to lead a regional strategy across the Jewish communal ecosystem. This senior role partners with schools, synagogues, advocacy groups, philanthropy, and civic leaders to coordinate action and measure impact.

Responsibilities include translating research into priorities, building capacity, and creating learning structures.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in strategy, Jewish communal work, or related fields.
• Ability to develop and implement strategy in a multi-stakeholder environment.
• Strong understanding of contemporary antisemitism.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, refinement, and implementation of a multi-year strategy for addressing antisemitism across Greater Washington.
• Translate findings into clear priorities and an actionable implementation roadmap.
• Identify where to strengthen or scale existing efforts and where new initiatives or investments are needed.
• Participate in a national JFNA cohort and incorporate learnings into Federation strategy.
• Cultivate relationships across local and national organizations to address antisemitism through advocacy, education, and incident response.
• Develop structures for ongoing coordination and collaboration across partners.
• Monitor emerging trends and connect organizations with national resources and learning opportunities.
• Drive measurement, evaluation, and learning for the antisemitism portfolio.
