Job summary

The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington seeks a strategic, collaborative leader to serve as the inaugural Director, Community Antisemitism Response. You will guide a multi-year regional strategy, translate research into actionable priorities, and convene partners across schools, synagogues, and advocacy groups to counter rising antisemitism.

This hybrid role emphasizes ecosystem leadership and data-informed impact.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive professional experience in strategy, Jewish communal work, civic engagement, philanthropy, or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategy in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including facilitation and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, refinement, and implementation of a multi-year strategy for addressing antisemitism across Greater Washington.
• Translate landscape scan findings and stakeholder input into priorities and an implementation roadmap.
• Identify where to strengthen existing efforts and where new initiatives or investments are needed.
• Participate in a national cohort of professionals focused on combatting antisemitism and incorporate learnings.
