Job summary

EAH Housing is seeking a full-time RED Director to oversee initial acquisition activities in the California market, based at EAH Corporate in San Rafael. The role requires a Real Estate/Finance/Civil Engineering or related degree, 3–5 years in residential multi-family development, and 2 years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Civil Engineering; Business, or related field.
• 3–5 years of direct experience in residential multi-family development, particularly sourcing land, or existing buildings for purchase.
• Background in planning, zoning, and general entitlements.
• 2 years management/supervisory experience with proven leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Drives acquisition opportunities, evaluating projects and representing EAH in external dealings.
• Performs due diligence, reviews title reports, and assesses entitlements and development feasibility.
• Leads the entitlement process with Business Development staff.
• Creates preliminary financial projections and develops acquisition strategies.
• negotiates terms of purchase agreements and coordinates with development teams.
• Manages seller relationships through closing and coordinates public approvals.
