Harvard University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences is seeking a senior educational operations leader to manage faculty support, curriculum coordination, and training across the Quantum Science and Engineering initiatives. The role emphasizes graduate and undergraduate program oversight, diversity initiatives, and cross‑institution collaboration, with hybrid on‑campus scheduling in Cambridge, MA.

A Ph.D. in a related field is preferred, along with strong communication and instructional design

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 7 years’ relevant work experience.
• Ph.D. in science or engineering strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to STEM outreach.
• Experience as an educator in a field related to quantum science and engineering.
• Knowledge of learning and instructional design.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead delivery of academic affairs operations including faculty support, curriculum management and training.
• Recruitment, admission, events, and programs related to Quantum Science and Engineering Ph.D. program.
• Advise graduate students in Quantum Science and Engineering Ph.D. program.
• Manage all administrative aspects of Ph.D. student lifecycle and records.
• Oversee undergraduate education in HQI, including Secondary Field in Quantum Science and Engineering.
• Review program goals, policy, curriculum and requirements; recommend improvements.
• Advance HQI’s commitment to diversity and mentoring for student success.
• Develop coursework in quantum science and engineering at graduate and undergraduate level; create online modules.
• Build partnerships with academic institutions and industry for HQI education mission.
• Coordinate events, programs, and communications for QSE outreach.
• Serve as Project Coordinator or Education Director for HQI grant-funded projects.
• Produce reports and analyze statistics on curriculum development, teaching effort and progress.
