Job summary

Steel Warehouse seeks a Manager of Quality, Testing & Continuous Improvement to lead four professionals across quality management, testing & certification, and CI. You will maintain ISO/IATF/AS9100 certifications where applicable, drive CAPA, and build data-driven dashboards to support decisions and performance tracking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Operations, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of progressive quality management experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Experience managing external quality certifications (ISO 9001 / industry equivalents) through full audits.
• Proven RCA and CAPA leadership using 8D, A3, Fishbone, 5-Why, etc.
• Experience interfacing directly with customers on quality issues and complaints.
• Strong knowledge of calibration systems and MSA/Gauge R&R.
• Experience supporting new product launches or production trials in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with quality data analysis tools and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Lead RCA and CAPA processes for quality issues, ensuring timely resolution and closure.
• Serve as primary contact for customer quality complaints and lead investigations.
• Maintain and improve the QMS for compliance, audits, and excellence.
• Oversee calibration programs and ensure traceability to standards.
• Own external quality certifications and manage surveillance audits and actions.
• Lead development and enhancement of internal testing capabilities.
• Plan and document production trials for new business awards and launches.
• Develop and execute launch quality plans with acceptance criteria and monitoring.
• Foster continuous improvement and data-driven decision making with KPIs.
