Position Purpose

This position oversees the quality teams at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center and Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital. Responsibility for ensuring excellent performance quality outcomes, including registry data, performance improvement, data analytics, regulatory, patient safety, and infection prevention. This highly skilled professional will strive, in a fast-paced environment, to lead strategic initiatives across the community hospitals to improve patient care, safety, and quality outcomes, ensuring compliance with regulations and drive continuous improvement efforts.

What you will do

• Develop and implement an organizationalquality and patient safety framework for the organization monitoring of key performance indicators
• Lead a large team consisting of clinical and non-clinical team members with the responsibility of development and oversight of Quality & Patient Safety strategic
• Oversee the identification of meaningful overall organizational quality data and measurements, ensuring they are reported and shared through reports, presentations, and education
• Develop overall department budget to complement strategic directions within existing fiscal constraints
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) required, Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration or Business preferred
• Three (3) years of relevant leadership and management experience within a health‑system setting preferred
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) required within 18 months of role acceptance
• Demonstrated expertise in quality, quality improvement methodologies, principles, tools, and workload measurement; and evidence‑based patient safety practices

Pay Range: $65-96 per hour

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
