Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Weirton is seeking a Director of Quality Management to lead accreditation readiness, QAPI initiatives and quality improvements across the facility. The role partners with the CEO, CNO and HR to enhance patient and staff experiences while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The incumbent will oversee survey readiness, quality metrics, data reporting and staff training in a fast-paced LTACH environment, driving continuous improvement and patient safety at the Weirton

Qualifications

• RN with a valid state license.
• Experience in core quality areas (Quality, Survey Readiness, Risk Management, Infection Control, Employee Health and Education).
• Familiarity with accrediting standards; TJC/CARF preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate survey activities to maintain accreditation and licensure.
• Organize monthly interdisciplinary QAPI meetings as per the calendar.
• Review quarterly quality improvement reports.
• Assist Medical Director and Quality Program Director with quality activities.
• Lead RCA activities for incidents (level 3-4) as required.
• Perform monthly quality data entry, analysis and reporting.
• Promote employee training and education in the workplace.
• Collaborate with leadership to meet reporting requirements.
