Job summary

Mile Square Health Center, part of UI Health and the University of Illinois Chicago system, seeks a Director of Quality Improvement to lead organization-wide quality initiatives. The role focuses on patient safety, health equity, and accountable clinical outcomes across care teams.

The Director will guide HRSA UDS quality measures, PCMH recognition, and dashboards while translating data into sustainable clinical practice improvements and staff development.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed in Illinois.
• 3 years of professional nursing experience, or 2 years with related advanced education.
• Demonstrated experience in healthcare quality improvement or related field.
• Ability to collect, analyze, and present healthcare quality data.
• Strong written and verbal communication with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for Mile Square Health Center's quality improvement and performance management program.
• Develop and evaluate evidence-based quality initiatives to improve outcomes and equity.
• Oversee HRSA UDS quality measures and PCMH recognition activities.
• Lead PMCH transformation and workflows to support PCMH functions.
• Establish systems for monitoring quality indicators and identifying gaps.
• Translate performance data into actionable improvement plans and timelines.
