Job summary

RIMEPRO INC in Houston seeks an experienced Director of Quality to lead QA/QC in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment. You will oversee the QMS, inspection, supplier quality, welding quality, NDE/NDT, traceability, nonconformance management, audits and continuous improvement.

The role requires 10+ years in quality within pressure vessels, boilers, heat exchangers or similar engineered-to-order manufacturing, plus 5+ years in leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive QA/QC experience in heavy industrial manufacturing.
• 5+ years of quality leadership or management experience.
• Strong experience with ASME Code manufacturing and ISO 9001 quality systems.
• Experience with pressure vessels, heat exchangers, boilers, piping, or similar large fabricated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall Quality Assurance and Quality Control organization.
• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, ASME, customer, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain quality procedures, inspection plans, standards, and documentation.
• Oversee inspection and testing throughout fabrication, assembly, and final product acceptance.
• Ensure material traceability and retention of quality records.
• Oversee welding quality, weld procedures, and welder qualifications.
• Provide leadership for NDE/NDT activities and other applicable methods.
• Lead internal, customer, supplier, and third-party quality audits.
• Manage nonconformances, CAPA, root cause investigations, and corrective actions.
