Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Director of Quality Control Engineering to lead quality engineering, develop strategies, and drive continuous improvement across the product lifecycle. This role focuses on robust quality processes, regulatory compliance, and delivering reliable, high-quality aviation components.

Responsibilities include overseeing QMS, audits, inspections, and collaborating with production, supply chain, and R&D to embed quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in quality control engineering or quality assurance leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems and industry standards (ISO 9001, AS9100) and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in Six Sigma, root cause analysis, and statistical process control to drive quality improvements.
• Experience with quality management software and data analysis tools to monitor and report quality metrics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control strategies and processes to ensure product compliance and excellence.
• Lead and mentor the quality organization to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
• Oversee QMS on site, quality audits, inspections, and testing to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, supply chain, and R&D to integrate quality standards throughout the product lifecycle.
• Establish and monitor key quality metrics and KPIs to trace performance and drive improvements.
• Work with supplier quality assurance and vendors to ensure adherence to quality requirements.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, and prepare reports for senior management.
