Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Director of Quality Assurance to join our manufacturing team in Wellsboro, PA. This permanent role will oversee the Quality Management System, quality control, CAR/CAPA processes, and drive continuous improvement to ensure product excellence.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of QA leadership in manufacturing, strong analytical and leadership skills, and a proven track record implementing quality standards, audits, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in a QA leadership role within manufacturing.
• Proven CAR, CAPA,Quality Control and Process Improvement experience.
• Strong leadership to manage and motivate a team.
• Extensive knowledge of QA methodologies and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Proficient with QA software and related tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Certification in Quality Management or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation, development, and maintenance of the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
• Develop and implement quality control methodologies to enhance process efficiency and product quality.
• Direct the analysis of product quality and reliability reports to drive improvement.
• Manage CAR and CAPA processes ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Lead and mentor a team of QA professionals, fostering continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with department heads to set quality benchmarks and standards.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews for regulatory compliance and internal policies.
• Develop and monitor the QA budget for cost-effective resource use.
• Stay updated on QA best practices, regulations, and industry standards and apply where appropriate.
