Job summary

The MetroHealth System is seeking a senior leader to direct and advance regulatory, accreditation, and quality assurance programs. The role drives readiness activities, partners with cross-functional teams, and ensures compliance with Joint Commission and Ohio Department of Health standards.

Qualified candidates will hold a bachelor's degree, have 5+ years in quality/accreditation, and possess CPHQ/CPPS or Lean Six-Sigma credentials. Strong management and travel readiness are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field; equivalent combinations accepted.
• 5 years of progressive quality improvement or accreditation experience.
• CPHQ, CPPS or Lean Six-Sigma training or obtaining within 18 months of hire.
• Strong management, planning, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel between facilities.

Responsibilities

• Directs, promotes, and participates in development and implementation of regulatory, accreditation, and quality assurance requirements.
• Leads the organizational continuous accreditation readiness program and activities.
• Serves as an organizational resource for accreditation and regulatory requirements for external agencies (e.g., Joint Commission, Ohio Department of Health).
• Partners with stakeholders on quality improvement projects related to regulatory requirements.
• Manages assigned personnel.
• Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
