Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System seeks a Director of System Quality Analytics to lead the development and execution of analytics strategy across the Quality department and enterprise. You will prioritize work, coordinate with analytics teams, and align forecasting with external quality programs.

This role reports to the VP of Quality and Patient Safety and requires strong leadership, communication, and BI deployment experience in a complex health system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a work-related field (e.g., mathematics, economics, engineering, computer science) from an accredited college or university required.
• Master's Degree in a work-related field preferred.
• Epic or related database certification or training preferred.
• Seven (7) years of experience in a complex health system, including five (5) years of supervisory experience.
• Five (5) years of experience with deployment of operational reporting and/or business intelligence solutions in a complex health system.
• Effective oral and written communication skills, advanced presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and standardizes analytics and reporting aligned with Quality department goals.
• Provides strategic leadership to standardize reporting processes and resources across Quality Analytics.
• Collaborates with department managers, physicians, and senior leadership to drive quality improvement.
• Creates and maintains a framework for continuous monitoring of clinical services value (quality, cost, appropriateness).
• Develops internal and external standards to measure quality, cost and patient-centered care.
• Oversees data sources and databases to deliver meaningful reports across the organization.
• Leads matrixed teams toward organizational objectives and budget targets.
• Directs data analysis and reporting of clinical utilization, cost, financial, and claims data; manages timelines and risks.
• Develops a technology roadmap to support Quality Analytics needs.
• Establishes enterprise-wide data governance with Central Analytics.
