Job summary

MOHR Talent is seeking a Director of Quality for an aerospace and defense site in West Point, MS. The role leads site-wide quality assurance and management, developing a strong team and reporting metrics to senior leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
Quality-management leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated experience managing and developing quality employees.
Experience leading or maintaining a certified quality management system.
Ability to interpret technical documents and resolve complex quality issues.
Must qualify as a U.S. person under applicable export-control requirements.
Ability to travel occasionally, including possible international travel.

Responsibilities

Lead the site's quality assurance and quality management programs.
Own and continually improve the company's quality management system.
Manage, train, and develop quality personnel.
Establish and report internal and customer-facing quality metrics.
Lead the resolution of product, process, supplier, and customer quality concerns.
Use data, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions to improve quality and operational performance.
