Job summary

Pacific Catch, Inc. is seeking a Director of Purchasing to build and own purchasing, inventory and cost-management systems for sixteen restaurants. You will translate culinary specs into disciplined purchasing practices, manage Restaurant365 data, vendor relationships, and develop new processes for PO and receiving.

This remote role requires travel to California restaurants and Home Office. Lead cost control, inventory accuracy and vendor performance while partnering with Culinary and Training

Qualifications

• Five or more years in restaurant purchasing or supply chain, multi-unit.
• Experience with Restaurant365 including item masters, recipes and costing.
• Experience implementing purchase orders and receiving in a restaurant.
• Track record negotiating and consolidating vendor programs.
• Full-service restaurant experience preferred; seafood knowledge is useful.
• Ability to travel regularly to California.

Responsibilities

• Own vendor master and item master in R365; manage accuracy across all locations.
• Map invoices to items and GL accounts for accurate costing.
• Build and maintain recipes in R365 from culinary specs.
• Develop theoretical vs. actual usage reporting and follow-up.
• Design transition to purchase orders and formal receiving; oversee rollout in field.
• Own order guides and item availability per restaurant.
• Negotiate and manage vendor contracts and prices.
• Maintain vendor scorecards and resolve credits.
