Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Director of Operations for the Public Sector to provide comprehensive operational oversight, aligning pricing, contracts, compliance, and risk with leadership priorities across the practice.

The role partners with Legal, Compliance, and shared-service teams to drive efficiency, growth, and employee engagement, while coordinating internal communications and major industry events. A strong background in program management and strategy is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Marketing.
• Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in operations leadership and program management.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operations across the Public Sector practice, aligning processes with leadership objectives.
• Oversees pricing, contracts, compliance, and risk management to support opportunities.
• Interfaces with Legal and Compliance on contracts and regulatory requirements.
• Develops and implements operational processes to improve efficiency and accountability.
• Leads cross-functional initiatives with marketing, training, recruiting, branding, events, and employee engagement teams.
• Supervises and coordinates Talent Brand Strategy and recruiting events to attract top candidates.
