Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Public Relations Director to lead crisis management, media relations, and integrated communications for our brand in the U.S. market. The ideal candidate will bring strong connections with influential media outlets (traditional and digital), PR agencies, or major consumer platforms, and demonstrate excellent judgment, agility, and a deep understanding of branding.

Base pay range

$140,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities

• Lead crisis communication and work closely with HQ to jointly handle sensitive public issues.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with local mainstream media, influencers, and key opinion leaders; coordinate regular media visits and outreach.
• Plan and execute press release distribution, news hijacking opportunities, and integrated communication campaigns to enhance brand reputation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in PR, media, or communication roles; experience with reputable media outlets, digital media, PR agencies, or major consumer brands preferred.
• Proven ability to handle crisis communication and sensitive public issues with sound judgment and discretion.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong network with local media and influencers in the U.S. market.
• High level of integrity, flexibility, and deep understanding of branding and consumer engagement.
