Job summary

AdventHealth in Maitland, Florida seeks a Provider Compensation leader to design and govern compensation programs for physicians and advanced practice providers. You will partner with executive leadership and legal to ensure market competitiveness and fair value aligned with organizational goals.

You will analyze pay structures, develop standardized methodologies, mentor senior leaders, and monitor performance metrics to mitigate risk and drive value across the network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Experience with provider compensation in a medical group.
• Strong analytical and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of Provider Compensation philosophy and metrics.
• Collaborate with executives and legal on interpreting compensation plans.
• Stay updated on compensation market changes and adjust plans as needed.
• Design standardized Provider Compensation methodologies for Physicians and APPs.
• Develop and supervise physician compensation models including service line planning.
• Conduct annual reviews of each provider’s pay structure for fair market value.
• Identify opportunities to standardize compensation metrics and calculations.
• Analyze compensation calculations and impact of performance targets.
• Identify risks and coordinate action plans with leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

• Leads the development and implementation of Provider Compensation philosophy, guiding principles, citizenship metrics, and quality metrics.
• Collaborates with executive management and legal counsel on interpreting existing compensation plans.
• Serves as the industry expert, staying updated on changes in the provider compensation marketplace and proposing necessary adjustments.
• Designs standardized approaches for Provider Compensation methodology for both Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers.
• Develops and supervises physician compensation models, including planning acquisitions and service line development.
• Conducts annual analytical reviews of each employed provider’s pay structure to ensure fair market value.
• Identifies opportunities to standardize and improve the accuracy of physician compensation metrics and calculations.
• Analyzes provider compensation calculations and the impact of potential performance target achievements.
• Identifies areas of potential risk and low performance, coordinating action plans with leadership.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay Range
