Job summary

Hilton seeks a Director of Software Engineering for the PEP product based at our Dallas corporate office to lead a global software platform across properties worldwide. You will drive cloud-native design, secure development, and DevOps practices while partnering with Product, Architecture, and external vendors to ensure high-quality delivery and production stability.

This is a hybrid role near Dallas with up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional work experience in technology
• 6+ years of management or supervisory experience
• Experience with cloud-native, distributed applications on AWS
• Leadership of software delivery practices (DevOps, CI/CD, testing, observability, incident management)
• Hybrid role onsite near Dallas with travel up to 25%

Responsibilities

• Own and implement software engineering standards, performance, and quality across the PEP platform
• Drive cloud-native architecture, distributed systems, and scalable development
• Promote secure development with identity, authentication, and authorization frameworks
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Quality Engineering, and vendors
• Oversee onboarding, training, metrics, code reviews, and production stability
