Job summary

Talent Acq Llc in Southern New England is seeking an experienced project manager leader to drive a confidential search. This player-coach role will build and lead the project management function while personally running the portfolio’s largest and most complex highway and infrastructure projects.

You will establish PM standards, hire and develop PMs and coordinators, forecast revenue, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure profitability while coordinating across field teams, customers,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive PM experience in heavy highway, heavy civil, or infrastructure.
• Track record of leading PMs, not just working alongside them.
• Experience building or significantly improving PM processes.

Job description

We're running a confidential search for an established specialty infrastructure contractor in Southern New England. Decades in business, a strong DOT and transportation project portfolio, and the kind of work you'd expect from a much larger company.

This is a player-coach role. You'll build and lead the PM function while personally running the largest and most complex projects in the portfolio.

What you'll own:

• Building the PM framework: structure, standards, processes, reporting
• Hiring and developing PMs, APMs, and project coordinators
• Project revenue forecasting and long-term schedule and resource planning
• Budgeting, change orders, invoicing, and project profitability
• Serving as the coordination point between field, customers, suppliers, and leadership

What we're looking for:

• 10+ years of progressive PM experience in heavy highway, heavy civil, or infrastructure
• A track record of leading PMs, not just working alongside them
• Someone who builds schedules and forecasts cost to complete, and thinks one to three months ahead
• Experience building or significantly improving PM processes
• Comfort with night and weekend work, which is a core part of how highway work gets done

Compensation: $150K–$175K base, company vehicle, gas card, bonus, and 3 weeks PTO.
