Riot Platforms in the United States seeks a Director of Controls to build and manage the controls process across projects. You will establish a reusable system, then lead on-site control managers who execute it and report to executives.

You will design a comprehensive framework, drive budgeting and forecasting, implement controls tools, and mentor a controls team to ensure cost, schedule, and risk are managed effectively.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in project controls on large capital construction projects, incl. 5+ years in leadership.
• Track record building a controls function or system.
• Owner-side or owner's-rep experience on data center, mission-critical, power, or heavy industrial projects.
• Strong command of WBS and cost coding, scheduling, change management, risk management, and forecasting.
• Ability to turn project controls data into clear recommendations for executives and finance.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, finance, or related field.

Responsabilités

• Build construction controls framework with standard WBS and cost coding.
• Design and lead end-to-end change management from submission to budgeting.
• Create risk management process linking risks to contingencies.
• Set up PO and commitment tracking with procurement for visibility of costs.
• Lead budgeting, cost forecasting and monthly reporting, including an executive dashboard.
• Set scheduling standards and monitor critical path and long-lead equipment.
• Select and implement controls tools connected to finance and PM systems.
• Build and lead controls team and establish standards for third-party schedulers/cost managers.
